DEC AWARDS

Inspire learners to think like Architecture, Engineering and Construction professionals with our bite-sized projects

Bring real-world learning to life and help young people design a better future.

DEC Awards are small, ready-to-use projects that immerse children and young people in the exciting world of the Built Environment – they learn to design, engineer and construct a range of buildings and structures, from homes and restaurants to music venues and neonatal units.

Fully supported STEM/STEAM projects
DEC Awards are perfect for use in school clubs and other STEM enrichment activities, during term or holidays! Companies use them to support school engagement activities (e.g. work experience and other career awareness programmes) and universities adapt them to provide team-building projects for new undergraduates! And now they’re available for home learning.

Designed to be flexible
Each challenge can be adapted to the needs of school, college and home learners, with easy-to-use assessment criteria. Portfolios are moderated by a teacher or designated parent/carer and certificates can be claimed on successful completion.

Learning experience and pathway
DEC Awards provide an ideal opportunity to prepare for the multi-award-winning Design Engineer Construct!® Learning Programme.
