Event: Careers in Construction Schools Event
Date: 9 March 2016
Time: 10.00 until 14.00
Venue: Discovery Dundee Waterfront
Cost: Free

Too often Construction is seen in terms of building, joinery, plumbing…  In fact, Construction affects every single person’s lives from the construction of hospitals at birth, schools through early life, homes to live in, places of work and places of worship. This then encompasses a vast range of disciplines from planning and design, architecture, restoration, project management, surveying, engineering and environmental studies.

Please join us to hear from Construction Professionals about their career journey as well as meet some of the most high profile employers and education providers for the sector.

During the networking session, you can gather more information to take away with you to form substantive careers literature to share with your students

FREE Event DVD

The event will be filmed and a DVD will be available to those who attend after the event.  Use it in your own school within the curriculum, at a time that suits you.
Suitable for a variety of age ranges it ensures all your students are aware of the exciting careers available to them in the Built Environment.

This is a really unique opportunity to access valuable careers material, contacts in the industry and further education which is currently not on offer anywhere else.

This promises to be a fantastic event, featuring a presentation by students from St Ambrose Barlow RC High School.
